Southern double-collared sunbird

Appearance
Male is very similar to but smaller than Greater Double-collared Sunbird, and may be distinguished from that species by its shorter bill and narrower red breast band.
Female is most similar to female Orange-breasted Sumbird, but is greyer below; not as pale as female Dusky Sunbird. Juvenile resembles female.
Habitat
Coastal scrub, fynbos, forests.
Call
A harsh 'chee-chee'; a fast, rising and falling song.
