Black-headed oriole

Appearance
The black head is diagnostic in all plumages. If seem from a distance, it might be confused with the rare green-headed oriole but it has a yellow (not green) back.
Juvenile has a dark bill, its head is dark brown, flecked with black and the bib is streaked.
Habitat
Mature woodland, especially broad-leaved; also forest edge, exotic plantations and mature gardens.
Call
A whistle, 'pooodleeoo', and a harsher 'kweeer' note.
