We accidentally photographed this tree trunk in 2006, when observing cheetahs resting in the shade (see next Year by Year). Actually, this tree trunk was the origin of the category Year by Year images. We wanted to show the slow detoriation of the Kgalagadi, but in 2008 the left trunk had collapsed already. We'll keep an eye on it...
