The yellow-billed hornbill is omnivorous. It will eat insects, frogs, bird choicks, lizards ants and so on, but it will also occasionally take fruit.
It is interesting to watch how the bird uses its large yellow curved beak to manipulate its prey so that it can be swallowed.
