Yellow-fronted canary
Appearance
Colour varies regionally (brightest in east). Facial pattern diagnostic. Differs from brimstone canary by its smaller size, less robust bill, yellow rump and white tailtips.
Juvenile has buffy yellow, lightly streaked underparts.
Habitat
Thornveld, and mixed woodland savanna.
Call
A 'zeee-zereee-chereeo'.
