Mosque swallow

Appearance
Likely to be confused only with red-breasted swallow from which it differs in being much paler and having white (not buff) underwing coverts and a white throat.
Juvenile red-breasted swallow has variable amounts of white on the throat and breast but always has buff (not white) wing coverts, and has the blue on its head extending well below the eye. Juvenile is paler below and less glossed above.
Habitat
Open woodland, often near rivers, and especially near baobabs.
Call
A nasal 'harrrrp', and a gutteral chuckling.
