Meves's (long-tailed) starling

Appearance
The long, pointed tail is diagnostic. Although similar, this species is a smaller bodied, more compact bird than Burchell's Starling. These are the only two glossy starlings with dark eyes (in adult). Usually in groups.
Sexes are similar but female is smaller. Juvenile is duller in colour than adult but the long, pointed tail is evident.
Habitat
Tall mopane woodland and riverine forests.
Call
A harsh 'keeeaaaa' and churring notes.
