Lesser kestrel

Appearance
Male differs from adult Rock Kestrel by its unspotted, chestnut back, grey secondary coverts and lightly spotted, buff-coloured front.
Female and juvenile are similar tot juvenile Rock Kestrel but are paler below, especially on the underwing.
Habitat
Open grassland and agricultural areas. Roosts communally in tall trees in towns.
Call
Silent in the region.
