Flap-necked chameleon
Appearance
Large chameleon with large skinflaps behind the head. A crest of small white scales on the throat and stripes of small white scales on the belly. body varies from green to pale yellow or brown, sometimes speckeled.
The eyes move independently, allowing the chameleon to see in opposite directions at once.
It is the most common chameleon in the region.
Habitat
Savanna and bushveld.
