Chat flycatcher

Appearance
A large flycatcher of thrush-like proportions. It is uniformly brownish above, with paler underparts and a pale brown panel on the folded secondaries.
Juvenile is spotted with buff above and below.
Habitat
Dry fynbos; Karoo and desert scrub.
Call
Song a rich, warbled 'cher-cher-cherrip', with squeaky, hissing notes.
