Red-necked falcon eating
Breeding
In the breeding season, courtship feeding may occur, in which the female feeds the male. When a couple has hatchlings, the parents feed the young until they are able to hunt
Feeding habits
The red-necked falcon hunts often at dawn or dusk. Its mainly hunts for small birds and it may work in pairs, where one of the two birds flies low and flushes up small birds and the other one flies higher to catch prey.
Less commonly, they also feed on rodents, bats, reptiles and termites.
