African wildcat with kittens

Reproduction
African wildcats are solitairy and territorial. The territory of a male usually overlaps with those of up to three females.
An African wildcat usually has a litter if 1 to 3 kittens. The kittens are borm blind. They open their eyes after about 10 to 14 days and at the age of one month they become mobile. The females raise their young in dens. The kittens start learning hunting techniques when they are three months old. They become independent at the age of six months.
