Medium sized slender flattened skink. Coloration varies between the sexes. In juveniles and adult females the body is pale olive to olive brown with six dirty gold stripes. The chin and throat region may be infused with yellow orange. The belly is dirty white, usually heavily spotted with black on the throat. Sexually mature males become suffused with black or dirty bronze.
