Yellow, black and orange striped. Spotted.
Horizontal pupils. Belly whitish, dark pink on limbs. Toes have adhesive discs.

Short, loud, piercing whistle.

Reedbeds at water's edge. East below escarpment as far south as Port Elizabeth.
