Cape (black) crow

Appearance
Larger than the House Crow, and differs in being uniformely glossy black with a long slender, slightly decurved bill.
Juvenile is duller, lacking the glossy, blue-black plumage of adult.
Habitat
Upland grassland, open country, cultivated fields and dry desert regions.
Call
A crow-like 'kah, kah' lower in pitch than that of the Pied Crow; song is a complex repertoire of bubbling notes.
