Arrow-marked babbler
Appearance
The white-streaked ('arrow-marked') head and breast, red-rimmed, yellow eye and uniform brown rump are diagnostic.
Juvenile has a brown eye and much less white streaking than adult.
Habitat
Woodland and savanna.
Call
A loud 'chow-chow-chow-chow...', with several birds often calling simultaneously.
